I continue to be amazed at the colors of lichen I find out in nature. When I walk up on lichen - especially after it has rained - and see the uniqueness and beauty.... I'm always amazed! This orange, green and seafoam green lichen is firmly attached to a large White Oak tree in Bentonville, Arkansas, that survived lightning strike, and a tornado. Unfortunately, the tree was rotting away so had to be chopped down. I happened to capture this at a friend's farm in Northwest Arkansas - before they were able to turn it into firewood. Bring NATURE inside with this lovely piece of art!
