Moulton Cattle Chute
What is better in the rustic wilderness of Wyoming than a 1930's rustic cattle chute and the Grand Tetons? Taken at the John Moulton Barn in Antelope Flats, Mormon Row, Wyoming, this mix of wood and nature provides interest, rustic, history and nature all into one piece of fine art.
Imagine gazing through a window and being transported to the serene landscapes of the Tetons and historic Mormon Row. This large, acrylic-mounted piece offers a unique view of the Grand Teton, capturing the natural beauty and rustic charm of the scene. It's more than just art—it's a connection to your memories of visiting Wyoming or the nostalgic stories of farm life. Perfect for those who appreciate the tranquil beauty of nature, this artwork invites you to relive those cherished moments every day.
I am a huge fan of the Mormon Row barn pictures, however for some reason, this rustic corral and chute captures my attention. Maybe because it's unique, and speaks of the years of hard work. How many times was this cattle chute used? What stories could this fence and chute tell? This art brings your imagination to life and allows you to interpret your own stories of life and struggles in Wyoming.
This extra large art would compliment any room of a house or office. This art, titled Moulton Chute, is part of the Rustic Charm collection.
This art draws you in as you as you reflect on the life of the families that worked the fields, tended the herd and raised their families at the base of the Grand Tetons.
You can read more about the history of the John Moulton homestead here and on Jerry Moulton's (grandson of TA (Alma) Moulton) website.
ART FEATURES:
-
Nature's Beauty: This piece captures the beautiful Grand Teton thru the view of the Moulton cattle chute at Mormon Row. Rustic and nature .... all in one!
-
History: This piece features an early 1900's cattle chute in a beautiful setting. Check out more on the Moulton family in a blog by Jerry Mouton. www.MormonRow.Com
- Experience: I love old barns, anything rustic. I think it's from growing up near my Grandparents with their 1930's barn. I was always in awe of that and wondered the famous..... if walls could talk. The same applies to this rustic cattle chute. Can't you just imagine what the farmers said on good (and bad) days? The partnership, the camaraderie, the bonding, the.... fun and frustration that has happened in that cattle pen and chute. Hope you enjoy this picture as much as I do. I think it's a perfect combination of history and nature. Here are a few more pieces from the Mormon Row/Wyoming collection.

Care Instructions
TruLife ACRYLIC PRINT: TruLife Acrylic cleans like glass. It is scratch resistant but NOT scratch proof! Wipe down the acrylic with a microfiber cloth. Spray acrylic with plastic cleaner (do not use harsh chemicals like ammonia or alcohol-based cleaners). Any gentle monitor or glass cleaner will work. Wipe off acrylic with a microfiber cloth. Make sure that the surface is wiped dry to prevent streaks. (Do NOT use paper towels, as they may scratch the acrylic.). Just wipe with any non-amonia/non-alcohol cleaner (Windex) using a non-abrasive microfiber cloth.
DiBond Brushed Metal: These prints offer unsurpassed durability with UV-cured ink. They are very durable. However, it is best to use a microfiber cloth when cleaning them to avoid scratching the surface. You can clean it with any mild cleaning product or soapy water. (They will scratch so don't pick at any spot!) Air dry.
Canvas: In order to maintain the art's original vividness you should avoid long-term exposure to sunlight, and avoid hot and humid areas. You can dust the canvas regularly, but make sure not to use any chemicals.
